Job Summary/Description:
WPTA-TV is seeking a Senior Newscast Director to join our team. The right canidate will be a passionate leader and team player with the skills for putting on a quality show and an excitement for working with others in a team atmosphere. Responsibilities include directing daily newscast at WPTA-TV, creating graphics, and working with the news department to produce our award-winning news product. As Senior Director you will be responsible for scheduling all directors, coaching team and keeping studio equipment in working condition.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidates must have a strong technical knowledge of using software and hardware, good communication skills and be able to work well with others. Experience directing newscasts or similar production experience is a plus.
