Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join the team in San Diego, CA. You will be responsible for providing technical engineering support and analysis of satellite and ground network infrastructures for the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS).

Responsibilities:
- Experience in satellite communication systems, ground station operations, and space industry standards.
- Designing, optimizing, troubleshooting, and managing network components.
- Leading network architecture design, analysis, and implementation.
- Analyzing requirements based on engineering guidelines.
- Reviewing hardware and software designs, providing technical oversight.
- Participating in system testing and validation.
- Mentoring junior engineers and staying updated with industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of Network Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with network equipment.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in DoD or Intelligence Community environment.
- Experience with satellite programs.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP desired.
Clearance Requirements:
- Active DoD Secret clearance required.
- U.S. Citizenship is a must for this position.
Base pay for this position in California ranges from $130,000 to $161,000 per year. Actual salary offered may vary based on experience and other factors. MTSI provides a range of benefits dependent on the position offered. Apply through MTSI's careers site.
