CIS is seeking a highly motivated, cleared Senior Network Engineerto join a mature program. The qualified Senior Network Engineer will support a very dynamic program in a world-class operations facility and must have a broad range of experience supporting mission critical network and computer systems.
**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**
*An active Top Secret security clearance is required, with the eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI.
Required Skills:
Demonstrable real-world experience in network configuration and management of critical network environments
Has a clear understanding of the OSI model
Ability to identify and correct network issues in a complex network environment
Experience with IPSec, multilayer switching, VLANs, and Virtual environments (ESXi)
Knowledgeable in Static/Dynamic IP environments, LAN/WAN interfaces, Routed and routing protocols, subnetting, remote management and monitoring using SNMPv3 and SSH in both large and small-scale networks
Experience in network devices such as Cisco ASAs, Routers, Switches, Phones, Video teleconferencing (VTCs), Unified Communications Servers
Experience with Cisco IOS, NX OS, VMware
Required Knowledge, and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or other technically related field and 10 years of hands-on experience
This position requires minimum of (5) years of experience in a networking environment
Knowledgeable in RHEL/CentOS Linux operating systems
Understanding of Power Distribution Units (PDU’s), serial servers, server hardware, and other data center type equipment
Hands on experience with Physical rack installations, troubleshooting, and system integration
Desire to obtain a CCNA certification or higher
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Clearance Requirement:

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
