We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As the Senior Network Engineer, you will configure, maintain, and support a well-functioning network. You will ensure network security, provide technical support, and update and install hardware and applications. The ideal candidate is technologically savvy and has excellent communication and customer service skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, configure and support a wide variety of network related equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, UPS/PDUs, and other network equipment.
Create, maintain and update documentation of the corporate network infrastructure.
Monitor WLAN performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
Troubleshoot, identify, repair and/or replace faulty LAN/WAN systems, equipment, or components.
Conduct routine and/or periodic security audits, including simulated sniffing, eavesdropping, penetration testing, and devices settings management.
Assist in the integration and support of new technologies and projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Current JNCIA, CCNA or equivalent Certification required (Required: must attach copy to application).
JNCIS Certification, College Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent. (Preferred)
Experience with common network routing protocols such as MP-BGP and OSPF, and static routing concepts.
Experience working with EVPN-VXLAN, Data Center interconnects, and ESI-LAG.
Competence with testing tools and procedure for voice and data circuits.
Experience with, and expertise in many of the following protocols and technologies: 802.11 protocol family, Link Aggregation, IPv4 & IPv6, TCP/UDP, Multicast, Gateway Redundancy protocols, NAC, IPSEC VPNs, and Application Layer (Next Gen) firewalls.
Must understand information security policies such as HIPPA, CJIS, and PCI.
Should possess general knowledge of infrastructure required for installing network equipment, such as HVAC, Electrical system standards including grounding bonding, and UPS/PDU operation and maintenance.
Experience creating documentation using Visio, CAD, or OSP insight is preferred
