Our client is looking for a highly-motivated and talented Senior Network Design Engineer to join a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate experience in designing and implementing WAN in a highly-complex environment that requires high security standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and act as a SME to all the WAN upgrade projects
• Develop high and low-level designs across the datacenter and WAN
• Interact/collaborate with various stakeholders and teams to achieve the overall organizational goals
• Provide reports and overviews to both technical and non-technical senior management
• Research/evaluate/introduce any new vendor products that may be beneficial from a security standpoint
• Understand the existing technology and evaluate it for possible vulnerabilities
• Enforce security policies at enterprise scale

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience with Network Engineering in an enterprise environment
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline

Skills and Experience:

• Hands-on experience with complex Network Designs, dynamic routing (OSPF & BGP)
• QoS, Matrix switching and network instrumentation- taps., SPAN, netflow, sFlow etc.
• WAN technologies- MPLS VPNs, OTN, DWDM, iWAN, SDN, WAN Acceleration
• Segregation and security features such as TrustSec, policy automation, encryption, overlays, VRF, ACL, ISE, 802.1x, MAB, RADIUS, MACSec, IPSec etc.
• Branch/Campus designs and topologies including MPLS and multicast
