Motto Mortgage Prosperity is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Loan Originator. As a Senior Mortgage Loan Originator, you will evaluate, authorize, or recommend approval of commercial/residential real estate loans. You will also advise borrowers on financial status and methods of payments. The ideal candidate will recruiting, train and mentoring other loan originators for additional compensation. Motto Mortgage Prosperity enjoys a relationship with The Oldfather Group of Sotheby’s International Realty, one of the top real estate teams in the country. This relationship offers an excellent opportunity to capture additional business via a convenient, one-stop shopping experience for the consumer.

Loan Officer Responsibilities:

• Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits
• Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
• Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up debt payment plans
• Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information
• Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them
• Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
• Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services
• Maintain and update account records
• Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans
• Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas

A Day At Motto Mortgage:

• Guiding borrowers (from credit and qualification to pricing and paperwork)
• Forging relationships with real estate agents, builders and other referral sources
• Raising the mortgage IQ of business partners with education and cross-marketing

Loan Officer Qualifications:

• Origination experience in the mortgage industry.
• Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
• Strong communication and decision making skills.
