This position can be based out of Philadelphia (our HQ), NYC area, or Remote. We follow a hybrid work model.

Overview

We are looking for a Sr. Mobile QA Engineer to test our Mobile Apps, and to write automated tests. Our app is currently built using React Native, Typescript, Micro Services, GQL and hosted on AWS. We use AWS Services such as Amplify, Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, and Cognito.

What You'll Do

• Test the new features and new releases of the Mobile Apps.

• Execute the regression test suite before releasing the new versions of the App.

• Automate the Regression test suite using the automated test frameworks.

• File bugs, triage them, and follow up to get those fixed.

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to define a compelling UX that functions well within a mobile app

• Have a strong empathy for our users.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential to enhance the Credit Genie product suite and maintain our competitive edge

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a QA engineer. Understanding of testing strategies, Expertise in creating test plans and writing test cases. Strong understanding of QA methodologies for mobile applications

• Experience in testing Mobile Apps (iOS, Android).

• Good knowledge of mobile test automation frameworks e.g - Appium, espresso, XCUITest, etc.

• Good understanding of the CI/CD processes and quality checks in the developer workflow.

• Strong empathy for our customers and a passion for exceeding their expectations.

• Proficient in troubleshooting, QA processes, quality management tools, and methodologies;

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to haves

• Experience working on personal finance management (PFM) products and/or a Mobile App with 1M+ active users.

• Experience in Javascript, Typescript, and React Native

• Familiarity with payment products
