Devansh Lab Werks is looking for a Senior Blood Technologist to join our team! The office will be a startup Blood Lab. This will also be a multi-functional role in a high volume, fast paced environment performing a vital component of clinical lab science.
Job Duties
- Medical LaboratoryTechnologist (MLT) will perform, evaluate, and report routine and STAT laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids.
- MT/MLT must be able to work in the following laboratory departments: Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Immunology, and perform all required test procedures in each department.
- Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) is responsible for instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, quality control evaluation and problem solving
- Under the direction of the laboratory manager, perform laboratory tests, quality control procedures and communication with physicians, nurses, and patients
- Establish or monitor quality assurance programs or activities to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results
- Comply with the policies/practices/ and procedures contained in the Laboratory Operations Manual
- Identify materials needed, orders necessary inventory, maintain vendor supply files, check items, receive and store them
- Ensure all routine, daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance is performed and documented.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate service as necessary.
- Perform, document, and maintain records for all required proficiency testing through approved program or intraoffice
- Participate in research, development, and validation for new methods
Requirements
- Laboratory technologist with five to six years of experience in chemistry, immunology, serology and hematology.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in biology or a related field preferred.
- One to three years of related or progressively more responsible experience in chemistry, blood bank, immunology, hematology, and microbiology.
- Must be capable of working independently and providing direction to Medical Laboratory Assistants.
- 4-5 years of experience
- COLA inspection experience
Available Shift
Hours and schedules may vary or alternate.
You will start in the morning for one (1) month, working 10 am to 6 pm (Monday - Friday)
After one (1) month, your schedule will be 1 pm to 9 pm (Monday - Friday).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Pay Salary may vary "based off of education level and experience"
Salary: From $25.00 to $3 per hour
