About This Role
The Marketing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to marketing strategies, campaigns, and consumer behavior. Their primary goal is to provide insights that can help organizations make informed decisions and improve their overall marketing performance.
What You Will Lead/Do or Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze marketing and sales campaigns to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to drive improved revenue.
- Collaborate with campaign managers to monitor and improve campaign performance.
- Investigate and conduct deep dives into data across marketing channels (email, web, social, digital advertising, events, etc.) to understand customer engagements and analyze user behaviors throughout the customer journey.
- Develop, iterate, and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track revenue and marketing performance in real-time.
- Perform data validation as necessary to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Identify and address data quality issues.
- Synthesize data into recommendations with potential to improve business processes, revenue results, and outreach outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to share findings and insights with marketing and sales stakeholders.
- Provide training to marketing and sales teams on interpreting and utilizing data for decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate marketing and sales data with broader business metrics
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and finance teams to set realistic campaign targets and goals.
- Respond as needed to ad-hoc analytics requests, providing data sets and/or analysis to produce insights.
Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed (Hiring manager provides)
- 4-6 years of analytics experience with at least 2 years working with marketing teams.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
- Excellent Salesforce reporting capabilities (SOQL a plus). Row level formulas, parent level formulas, etc a requirement.
- Proficiency in analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (PowerBI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - ability to identify issues, get to root causes, and propose actionable solutions.
- Excellent communications skills – simplify complex data and tell data-driven stories. Deliver insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrate innovative thinking and be a self-starter who can collaborate within a team to achieve goals.
