Humana's Marketing organization is seeking an experienced Senior Market Research Professional to join the Market Research Department working remote anywhere in the U.S.
As the Senior Market Research Professional, this role will work directly with business partners throughout the company to develop and execute on strategic research initiatives that will help inform business planning and implementation. A key project for this role will be overseeing advisory councils in a number of geographies to gather feedback on product and experience and convey that to the business to drive new products and initiatives. Councils will be a mix of in-person and online groups. Job responsibilities include development of research learning plans, data analysis, executive level presentations, research reporting, project management, and cross team collaborations. These outputs will be used to provide actionable insights and business implications in support of ensuring the business remain consumer centric throughout the health insurance life cycle. A key project for this role will be overseeing advisory councils in a number of geographies to gather feedback on product and experience and convey that to the business to drive new products and initiatives. Councils will be a mix of in-person and online groups.
This position requires travel (25%-35% at least the 1st year) in market for research projects/management and may vary year to year.

Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications or Business
+ 4 or more years of marketing research experience
+ 4 or more years of health insurance experience or related field
+ Understanding and experience with a variety of research methodologies - strong qualitative and quantitative experience
+ Project and vendor management experience
+ Experience communicating complex and functional strategies to senior management.
+ Understanding and experience with Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
+ Ability to travel 25%-35% across the U.S
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master's degree or other graduate degree
+ Experience managing research with Low Income/Multicultural consumers
+ Medicare plan and consumer experience
+ Experience with running consumer panels or advisory
