Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Social Media and Innovation will be responsible for defining the US Social Strategy and will lead efforts to identify, implement, and test new technologies. Reporting to the Director of Media & Digital, you will work cross-functionally with E-Commerce, CRM, and Marketing teams to achieve eBusiness and Communication goals through an always-on Social Media approach as well as the development of digital communications tools.
Responsibilities
- Define & Lead US Social Media Strategy:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define strategy and tactical priorities to guide paid social calendar.
- Develop creative formats and optimize mix across platforms (stories, reels, in feed posts, etc).
- Manage social vendor relationships (i.e. provide recommendations to drive growth).
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Share weekly calendar to update the team on all active social events and/or activities.
- Support Regional initiatives with local campaigns and messaging.
- New Technologies & Innovation:
- Identify digital tools to help support sales and communication goals, and enhance Maison's position as a leader in craftsmanship and innovation.
- Act as a thought leader for advancements in AR, Metaverse, Streaming, and other new media, providing POVs and use cases.
- Define and roll-out initiatives to enhance the advertising experience.
- Share best practices with our local and HQ teams, support the development of the annual Media roadmap, define KPIs, goals, and success metrics as well as monitor Social Media buzz and consumer insights.
- Partner with our global team to ensure our website highlights local news and propose content for boutique pages when relevant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
- 8-10 years of experience in Media at an agency or luxury retailer, with a strong digital focus.
- Strong project management skills.
- Fully proficient in Google Analytics, Facebook dashboards, and Social Media monitoring tools.
- Excellent presentation & communication skills.
- Passion for luxury and curiosity for new Media & Digital trends.
