Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Ski & Ride School Marketing is responsible for driving forward the Vail Resorts Ski & Ride School product marketing strategy across our top 16 Destination resorts. This role is accountable for the revenue and unit goals for Vail Resorts’ largest Ancillary line of business and a strategic growth area in the company portfolio.
The ideal candidate will bring compelling experience in product marketing, omnichannel strategy, and go-to-market planning, and be able to demonstrate strong business acumen, analytical thinking, project management and both team and cross-functional leadership. Being able to work with agility, optimism and prioritization in a fast-paced business environment is critical to the success of this role.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develop data-driven marketing strategies and product initiatives for Vail Resorts Ski & Ride School line of business that deliver on in-year revenue and unit goals, and effectively ladder up to long-term growth objectives
- Deeply understand business goals, performance metrics, and key drivers to proactively identify performance trends, communicate insights and recommendations to leadership with fluency, and quickly optimize initiatives to drive the best business outcome
- Build and maintain relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders including analytics, finance, resort operations, guest insights and peer marketing teams to effectively drive work forward
- Create and own the Ski & Ride School go-to-market plan using data-driven audience strategies, message personalization and testing opportunities. Evaluate channel performance within Paid and Owned channels and drive optimizations in close collaboration with partner teams.
- Lead Ski & Ride School asset management planning, including new image and video capture, asset creation and post-production work, and future asset strategy to support critical business needs.
- Manage high-visibility cross-functional projects with a strong bias for action and partnership orientation
- Leverage behavioral data and guest insights to identify business opportunities, story tell with data, and enroll trust from leadership and key stakeholders around our strategy and marketing plans
- Lead and develop one direct report to deliver on business goals, manage workload, and coach for growth
Job Requirements:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years product and/or channel marketing experience with revenue accountability; experience working in a matrixed environment a plus
- Experience in business analysis, deriving insights and actions from performance results
- Understanding of omnichannel metrics, email and paid media best practices a plus

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $100,000 - $130,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
