Senior Manager- SAP Order to Cash

Builders FirstSource (BFS) is embarking on a multi-year business transformation that will enable us to outperform our competition and enable industry transformation.  In connection with this initiative, BFS will harmonize our core operations on SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud.

 

The Senior Manager, IT is the internal BFS technology lead that will oversee the Order to Cash processes in the following solutions:

  • SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash (OTC) - Sales Order Management, Pricing and Conditions, Availability Check and ATP (Available to Promise), Delivery and Shipment, Billing and Invoicing, Payment Processing, and Credit Management.
  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Receivables Management - Credit Management, Collections Management, Dispute Management, and Biller Direct.
  • SAP Commerce Cloud - Product Content Management, Catalog Management, Order Management, Customer Management, Promotions and Pricing, Search and Navigation, and Content Management
  • SAP Paybacks and Chargebacks by Vistex - Chargeback Management, Trade Promotion Management, and Contract Management

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner and collaborate with business stakeholders and process owners to develop a comprehensive roadmap spanning SAP S/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Receivables Management, SAP Commerce Cloud, and SAP Paybacks and Chargebacks by Vistex.
  • Lead and manage the SAP Order to Cash (OTC) process, including configuration, integration, customization, master data, and reporting for efficient delivery of sales, invoicing, credit management, pricing, delivery, and customer service.
  • Design and implement reporting and analytics solutions for Order to Cash processes, leveraging SAP S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud to enable data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement.
  • Manage the organization's IT Order to Cash processes, ensuring alignment with Builders FirstSource's business transformation strategy and principles.
  • Manage and mentor a team of IT Business Analysts and Subject Matter Specialists to ensure effective collaboration, knowledge sharing, and delivery of high-quality solutions. Develop team members' skills and career paths through coaching, feedback, and training opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Develop and monitor objectives and key results (OKRs) for technology Order to Cash processes, establishing corresponding KPIs to track progress and measure success. Analyze KPI data, identify trends, and recommend areas for improvement to ensure continuous optimization of Order to Cash processes.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders and leadership, including insights and recommendations based on KPI data analysis. Apply design thinking principles to develop innovative solutions that enhance the end-user experience in Order to Cash processes, incorporating user feedback and insights for a user-centered approach.
  • Apply design thinking and/or process redesign/engineering principles to develop innovative solutions that enhance the end-user experience in the Order to Cash processes, incorporating user feedback and insights to ensure a user-centered approach.
  • Leverage SAP Business Technology Platform's (BTP) extensibility capabilities to innovate, differentiate, and enhance our Order to Cash capabilities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has supervisory responsibilities, including but not limited to: supervises assigned team members (in-person and remote); talent selection and training; planning, assigning and directing work; performance management, including conducting performance reviews; recognizing team members; addressing and resolve concerns timely, escalate for help when necessary.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in managing teams
  • [YS1] of overseeing configuration of SAP Sales & Distribution, Order to Cash, SAP Commerce Cloud, Receivables Management

    • Subject to both typical office environment and outside locations with temperature and weather variations.
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
    Ability to travel up to 40% during the multi-year business transformation, will likely shift down to 20% after initial business transformation is complete.

     

    In addition to the base wage listed, this position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus subject to changes in plan design and documents and in accordance with applicable law. Eligibility and the amount of the bonus varies based on overall company success, thresholds met and other terms and conditions of the Company's active bonus policy for the respective year.
