The Manager of Quality Assurance is responsible for managing all aspects of site quality activity to support business objectives and defined core value drivers. This includes the implementation of effective quality management systems aligned to corporate and business unit policies, procedures, and industry specific requirements. High degree of customer focus to support business growth and customer satisfaction. Leadership, development and mentoring of an effective quality team.
This position is part of the Global Quality Organization and located in Cortland, New York where our key products are utilized for filtration, purification and separation for a broad range of fluids involved in semiconductor manufacturing, including chemicals, gas, water, CMP slurries and photoresist processes.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Implement effective QMS in line with Corporate, Business Unit and local requirements.
- Continuously improve Core Value Drivers in support of quality and business growth.
- Manage customer complaint CAPA and NCR process providing escalation.
- Identify and implement controls and reporting to cover industry-specific regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor and rigorously develop talent within the quality function.
- Interface with supplier quality engineering function to drive supplier quality at plant and Business Unit level.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering/manufacturing or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Quality Assurance experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of supervisor/leadership experience.
- Must be proficient in Excel / Minitab and able to analyze and interpret data.
- Applies advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of the field.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Thorough understanding of ISO 9001, GMP knowledge an advantage
- Leading a team in a union environment

The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
