Summary:
The principal accountability of the role is to maintain and enhance the Standard Delivery for Smart Instrumentation in accordance industry best practices and Worley's Global Engineering standards.
Specifically, you will be responsible for the following:

• Smart Instrumentation (SI) administration including project creation, datasheet customizations, developing and running reports, system maintenance, provision of training to project teams, etc.
• Enhance and optimize Smart Instrumentation Project Delivery, execution, and handover for major EPC projects and services.
• Develop Smart Instrumentation project execution plans based on project requirements.
• Manage project user support issues via tickets logged in ServiceNow

Specific challenges associated with the role include:

• Balancing the focus of day to day, operational systems management with the requirement to foster future readiness and a climate for innovation
• Driving the centralization of service delivery through driving a consolidated and automated delivery process
• Moving the organization towards a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years' experience working as a Control Systems / Instrumentation Engineer or Designer working on major projects
• At least 5 years' experience working as a SmartPlant Instrumentation Administrator supporting major EPC projects
• Detailed knowledge of Smart License Manager installation and setup, SmartPlant Instrumentation table structure, Rules, Objects, Hierarchy, and Workshare Modes
• Competent with configuration of SmartPlant Instrumentation projects, symbology, and formats
• Proficiency in a common CAD drafting or graphics tool (e.g. SmartSketch, AutoCAD and Microstation).
• Strong knowledge of IT systems (Client Operating systems, Server configuration, Software installation and configurations)
• Understanding of EPC project requirements, deliverables and workflows
• Strong fundamental knowledge of EPC projects, home office and site planning requirements
• Experience working in virtual teams supporting a global community
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
