Salesforce is seeking a Senior Manager of Pricing Strategy to lead cross-portfolio Pricing Strategy projects that enhance Salesforce's ability to deliver the Customer 360 for every customer, while establishing the approaches, tools and cross-functional ways of working to drive success. This collaborative, data-driven leader will serve as a conduit to key partner teams - Product Management, Sales, Go-to-Market, Product Marketing, Operations, Finance, and others - in order to drive cross-functional alignment and activation on monetization projects. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to demonstrate a rigorous, hypothesis-driven problem solving toolkit, including market, competitive, customer and sales research and robust analytical methods.
Responsibilities

• Activate, amplify and accelerate Salesforce-wide projects to deliver monetization & packaging objectives in partnership with Product, Sales, Operations, Finance & Marketing
• Develop scalable cross-portfolio packaging & pricing methodologies and processes; codify approach and findings to multiply impact
• Perform market research, and analyze and synthesize quantitative (product, sales, pricing data) and qualitative data (input from customers, sales teams, and related product value collaborators) to develop and implement effective packaging & pricing tactics
• Design monetization performance dashboards to provide actionable insights across a spectrum of audiences - from executive leadership to cross-functional teams
• Coordinate & support the launch and success of new, high-priority product offerings
• Deliver crisp communication of recommended solutions to senior leaders and provide regular executive updates
• Evaluate interdependencies within Pricing Strategy and cross-functionally and call out risks to senior leadership team to resolve as necessary

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
• 8 - 10 years of general work experience required
• Able to understand and break down complex problems in order to develop and implement sustainable solutions from strategic and operational perspective
• Able to analyze data, surface market intelligence, and distill into actionable insights
• Adept at leading and effectively prioritizing multiple projects at once with high attention to detail
• Capable of communicating concepts clearly and credibly to multiple audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or other advanced degree in relevant field preferred
• 10+ years of general work experience, including 4+ years of Pricing Strategy, Corporate Strategy or Management Consulting experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills spanning across levels of seniority (senior leadership to junior analysts) and cross-functional teams
• Adept at collaboration and influence across a range of functions
• Strong understanding of software development, SaaS models, go-to-market concepts and dependencies
• Exposure to and knowledge of Salesforce product portfolio is a plus

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $159,900 to $219,900.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
