Position Summary:
ACU has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager of Branch Networkto join our Member Experience Department in Ashland, KY. The primary purpose of this position is to assist Ashland Credit Union (ACU) in living out its mission of “embolden our members to reach higher, achieve more, and take control of their financial future.” A key component to this is providing outstanding service to both internal and external members.
This position will oversee and coordinate all strategic functions of ACU branch locations including operational soundness behaviors, excellent member service experiences, and consistent financial wellness results.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership oversight of existing and future ACU branches by coaching, leading, and holding accountable localized leadership within those branch offices.
- Works closely with peer management to:
- Ensure Branch Network compliance with operational soundness practices, policies, and procedures.
- Analyze employee deposit and lending conversation growth and development opportunities as they relate to member applications.
- Respond to feedback related to the Member Experience in an omnichannel environment.
- Leads the branch sales and service supervisors/managers to ensure members are given excellent experiences both for service-related needs and financial wellness needs. Oversee the consistency of member conversations and the utilization of omnichannel tools available to enhance a member’s experience.
- Build and create strategies for sustainable branch production related to deposit and loan portfolio growth.
- Manage the life cycle of employee engagement including but not limited to hiring, training collaboration and onboarding, performance management, coaching for success, accountability, recognition, development, mentoring, and work life balance for direct reports.
- Lead team to consistently meet service and financial wellness standards and goals as defined by senior leadership and ACU’s Board.
- Consistently innovate current practices, procedures, and workflows to create efficiency for members and employees.
- Analyze monthly Branch Network profitability trends and adjust behavioral strategy approaches and best practices to align with the financial growth objectives of ACU’s senior leadership and Board.
- Be an ACU brand ambassador in the community by engaging in community and volunteer activities that benefit our members and the communities in which we serve.
- Other duties as requested by the President, EVP or VP of Member Experience.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Leadership experience in the financial services industry retail environment, minimum 5 years.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop others for career success.
- Ability to collaborate with other managers and work to create balanced. processes that satisfy the interests of both parties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Occasional travel.
Ability to work Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm EST
