- Plans, coordinates and manages comprehensive local media coverage and Media Relations activities for the hospital and collaborates with Health Sciences Communications on regional and national media opportunities.
- Manages relationships with local, regional and national news media organizations to coordinate positive public communications messages to all target audiences.
- Primary responsibilities include managing daily interaction with news media organizations to communicate positive public messages regarding the hospital and all of its activities, conducting media training, and assisting with crisis and issues management.
- Coordinates all entity-based media coverage, including interviews, photography and videography/filming activities.
- Works with staff and physicians to prepare for interviews and coaches them for on-camera presence and appropriate messaging.
- Supervises external media during shoots/production to ensure minimal disruption to clinical activities.
