Sodexo Energy and Resources has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resource Manager 3 who will direct and support the Sodexo HR activities for 11 offshore oil units, and 9 onshore energy units supporting recruitment, program development, employee relations, custom benefits administration, on-boarding support, personnel files and FMLA/ADA administration.
**This is a virtual position with 20-30% travel**
Must live in: Houston Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi
Bilingual, Spanish speaking candidates preferred
Must have experince in Energy & Resources & Offshore experience
The successful candidate will have experience in all Human Resource supporting an hourly staff size 350+ employees, HR functions including administration of facility hiring, retention, termination, legal compliance, benefits, worker's compensation, FMLA, long-term staffing strategies, payroll, and more. Special focus on developing our hourly recruiting program for on and off shore operations.
The ideal candidate will:
- support frontline recruiting strategies to support on and off shore mobilization;
- support Human Resources functions for front-line staff including but not limited to; recruitment, employee relations, on-boarding, training, payroll, legal compliance, benefits, worker's compensation and FMLA;
- work closely with on-site managers to ensure compliance with Sodexo human resource policy and procedures and other human resource needs;
- maintain employee files ensuring compliance with Sodexo standards;
- oversee Employee Relations and Employee retention;
- address all Sodexo employee relations situations;
- be responsible for all unit level recruitment including job posting and interviewing;
- facilitate all required Sodexo HR training programs including New Employee On-boarding;
- lead other human resource initiatives for the unit; and/or
- support other HR activities as needed.

- strong understanding of Visa process
- experience utilizing DISA software
- skilled in the area of employee relations;
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment; and/or
- professional communication skills; Bilingual, Spanish speaking candidates preferred
