Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Global Security Technology . The position can be based in New Brunswick, NJ; Belgium; Sao Paulo; or Singapore and may require up to 25% travel.
The Senior Manager of Security Technology leads the Global Security technology strategy and landscape. While upholding the values of Our Credo, the role involves crafting the ongoing three-year technology strategy for Global Security, as well as managing projects, upgrades, deployments, and improvements of current and future technology capabilities. The Senior Manager of Security Technology will guide budget management, governance, Key Performance Indicators and Metrics, technology vendor management, contract renewals, and performance. Critical to the role will be internal partnerships with Corporate Business Technology, Information Security & Risk Management, Procurement, Finance, Regional Security Directors, Engineering and Property Services, Environment Health and Safety, Human Resources, Brand Protection, Quality, Supply Chain, and in region business partners.
The role will organize the annual technology conferences for critical partners as well as ongoing analysis of technology capabilities that will help drive the strategy and direction of future capabilities to ensure Global Security has the tools it needs to drive efficiencies and meet the needs to mitigate, respond, protect, and prevent the innovative threat landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain the ongoing three-year technology strategy roadmap for innovative and effective technology within the security landscape.
Build a strategy to actively identify new Security Technology innovations.
Chair the technology innovations HPT (high performance team) which reviews technology innovations both within the current technology capability verticals and in potential new verticals.
Drive the adoption of Global Security technology standards across all regions.
Maintain a robust Key Performance Indicator and metric program to collect and get results on vendor and technology performance.
Handle projects, upgrades, deployments, enhancements, or current and future technology capabilities.
Guide budget management, governance, technology vendor management, contract renewals, and performance.
Maintain weekly governance meetings to assess ongoing projects, issue resolution, improvements, and other technology briefings, while understanding technology innovations and capabilities.
Partner with critical internal team members to ensure the ongoing cyber compliance, legislative compliance, cyber security, privacy compliance, and regulatory compliance of all Global Security capabilities globally.
Nurture the project for Emergency Communication technology adoption for Crisis Communications and Urgent Communications globally.
Own the project in alignment with Global Security’s Global and Regional strategic plan to have redundant alarm monitoring and video monitoring capabilities by LSOCs, RSOCs, and the GSOC.
Qualifications
Education:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree is required.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
8 years of proven experience within Security Technology, including at least 5 years working within a Corporate or Global Security department.
Leadership skills and ability to partner with external and internal stakeholders.
Experience with Honeywell Security Technology programs.
Project Management and multitasking skills.
Good team spirit, strong organizational management ability, interpersonal communication ability, expression ability, learning ability.
Moderate understanding of the Private Security field; and a strong background in Security Technology capabilities.
Possess outstanding oral and written communicate skills.
Possess the ability to brief at all levels of the company and communicate openly and candidly across Business Units and operating companies.
Results-objectives-goal oriented; cost-benefit analyst, decision maker, strategic planner and tactical executive.
Strong computer skills including intermediate presentation design and excel spreadsheets creation and management.
Experience in decentralized environment where decision making is shared.
Demonstrate ability to develop and grow stakeholder relationships.
Must be able to work in team-oriented management environments while working independently.
Ability to oversee and manage external vendors.
Provide sensitive briefings to senior executives.
Computer literate and have proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred:
- Experience with working in a global; multi-cultural environment is a plus.
The base pay range for this position is $113,000- $195,500. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
