Senior Manager Content Marketing (Hybrid) - MAR001422

The Sr Manager of Content Marketing ensures strategic alignment and delivery of targeted communications across CRM and Digital media across all four lines of business. This position leads quarterly customer communications and CRM support/capacity planning and executions across a variety of channels, including Email, SMS/MMS, OBTM, Digital Display, Paid Social Media and Direct Marketing. This role requires the ability to provide strategic guidance in customer messaging throughout the buying cycle and into the customer lifecycle. This role requires the ability to synthesize consumer and competitive insights as well as past and current performance trends to identify and deliver market leading consumer value.

  • Own all creative agency relationships for Digital Marketing and CRM
  • Accountable for driving store and web traffic that support corporate annual revenue goals
  • Responsible for assignment agreements, assessing creative strategy recommendations from a range of creative agencies & specialties
  • Serve as main point of contact with creative agency to shape, brief and evolve go-to-market strategies for long range planning as well as quick-turn competitive response plans
  • Serve as editor-in-chief for all content to ensure quality, clarity and consistency
  • Lead cross-functional teams as appropriate in the preparation, dissemination and maintenance of associate and customer communications as it relates to responsible engagement programs
  • Create value propositions for customer journey strategies
  • Lead quarterly CRM planning, including intake, evaluation and decisioning on supported initiatives ensuring alignment with company objectives and priorities.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to assess all new initiatives and broadly communicate committed support levels
  • Accountable to ROI of programs; Analyze financial results and take appropriate actions to ensure operational excellence and achieving annual churn/loyalty goals. Develop and execute to key financial and business targets/metrics
  • Successfully execute go to market, launch, maintenance and marketing strategies and programs
  • Provide content and direction for training. In some instances, lead development of training
  • Ensure content and creative optimization is built into all campaigns and KPl's and metrics are at the forefront of the strategy and briefing of agencies
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on competitive environment and take necessary actions
  • Review and assess Scope of Work documentation for agency and vendor partners
  • Work closely with Procurement on RFQ's, RFP's and contract negotiation and finalization

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in an advertising agency, communications company or a corporate marketing communications department
  • Proven record of translating research and analytics into creative strategies
  • Expertise in successfully leading across organizational boundaries, including strong relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated product leadership qualities and ability to lead diverse and cross functional groups, including outside vendors
  • Strong team orientation, both internal and external, with the ability to coach and mentor regardless of reporting relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong idea generation, story building and creative evaluation skills
  • High impact communication both written & oral to influence peers, leaders & agency
  • Proven experience with a broad array of marketing communications including digital and social
  • Project management experience with an ability to break down complex problems into manageable goals
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders within cross-functional teams
  • Advanced experience with standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical education and/or MBA
  • Experience with P&L accountability
  • Wireless voice/data service provider experience

Salary Range $111,000 - $160,000

Associates have access to healthcare benefits (medical, dental and vision), retirement plans (a 401(k) plan with company match and a pension plan funded by the company), Paid Parental Leave (6 weeks after 6 months of employment), Basic Life Insurance (if eligibility requirements are met), Education Assistance (after 3 months of employment), paid Vacation Days (15 days accrued per year for full-time/6 days accrued per year for part-time), paid Sick/Care-Giver Days (6 days accrued per year), and seven paid national holidays and one floating holiday, among others. Short Term Disability (after 6 months of employment) and Long Term Disability (180 day waiting period) coverage is also available for full-time associates. Associates Scheduled to work under twenty hours per week or for a limited term are eligible for medical plans and retirement plans (a 401(k) plan with company match and a pension plan funded by the company).
