Our Global Communications organization is responsible for protecting and elevating Hilton's reputation, driving brand and consumer communications, inspiring and engaging Team Members, and connecting owners and other partners with Hilton's purpose and business goals.

What will I be doing?

As the Senior Manager, CMO Communications, you will be responsible for the design and execution of an internal and external communications strategy for Hilton's Chief Marketing Officer. You will directly support the CMO in telling the story of our Marketing & Loyalty strategy and performance, energizing Team Members, and leading the team as a world-class marketing organization!

As a member of the Internal, Executive & Owner Communications team, you will work directly with the Sr. Director of Marketing & Loyalty Strategy and Planning and have oversight of the broader Marketing & Loyalty communications strategy.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Communications Planning & Strategy: Develop and deliver an annual communications plan, partnering with the CMO to define and drive Marketing & Loyalty's story, long-term vision, and annual performance internally and externally at conferences, public speaking engagements, and internal written and verbal communications.
  • External Engagement: Craft all CMO communication materials inclusive of leadership communications with an emphasis on impactful visual communications and presentation design, owner communications, external media, speaker engagements, and social media content.
  • Internal Engagement: Crafting the communications materials and coordinating senior leader and Team Member-focused engagements, meetings, and communications.
  • On-Site Support: Staff the CMO at internal/external appearances, both live and virtual events, and partner with event organizers on all logistics and briefing materials.
  • Stakeholder Management: Represent the interest of the CMO in forums where communications guidance is requested or required to inform messaging or event strategies.
  • Team Coordination: Develop and maintain strong working relationships and coordination within Marketing & Loyalty and the broader Commercial Services organization, Communications, Human Resources, and Public Relations.

What are we looking for?

The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Proven expertise in executive communications and/or internal communications
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, including experiences with senior executives
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to match the tone and style of others' writing with authenticity
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, problem solve, connect the dots, and manage and implement tasks efficiently
  • Flexibility, sense of urgency, and the ability to remain calm under pressure

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of professional experience in internal and/or external communications, marketing, public relations, or related fields
  • Experience supporting executive communications, social media, and leading/collaborating with agency partners, internal teams, and cross-functional working groups
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in public relationships, communications, marketing, or a related field
  • Experience working within marketing organizations and managing and/or leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with a larger global organization and/or a mid-to-large-size communications, PR, or marketing agency
  • Proficient skills in creative concepting, graphic design, and video and event production
