SENIOR LOGISTICIAN

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting for a Senior Logistician (Specialist)to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support our customer, Project Manager Tactical Network (PM TN).

Duties:

• Maintain responsibility for life cycle management of mission network equipment, including technical manual validation and verification, provisioning processing and analysis, configuration management, new equipment fielding, and maintenance issues.
• Apply knowledge of the concepts, principles and practices of IPS (Integrated Product Support) functions to the extent that the employee is responsible for most or all of the logistics elements (i.e. maintenance planning: manpower and personnel; supply support: support and test equipment; training and training devices; technical data; computer resources support; and packaging, handling, storage, transportation, and facilities) for one or more acquisition programs.
• Resolve highly complex logistics problems that impact equipment or systems impacting or involving large geographical areas.
• Develop, initiate, and oversee the implementation of significant corrective actions, new programs, major program enhancements, and important policy changes.
• Assist Army units with logistics and maintenance issues regarding the assigned system's readiness, support mission network units, and assist the units with planning and executing their logistics and maintenance activities.
• Represent the program at functional meetings, as required.
• Support elements including maintenance planning, manpower and personnel, supply support, test equipment, training devices, technical data, computer resources, packaging, handling, storage, and transportation, and facilities.
• Work with technical writers and provisioners on developing Maintenance Allocation Charts (MAC), organize the validation and verification of technical manuals, and develop Integrated Support Plans.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience with the DoD; Army preferred.
• Works well within team environments but can accomplish tasks individually as needed.

Required Clearance:

• ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least five (5) years of experience with the DoD (Department of Defense) required; Army preferred.

Travel:

Less than 25% travel is expected for this position.

Work Environment:

This position may be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, commercial and/or government offices, test and integration labs, government facilities and depots, and test & evaluation and proving grounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
