Senior Liquefied Natural Gas Coordinator

Storti Quality Services is looking for a Senior Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Operations Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the construction, commissioning, start-up, operation, and maintenance of LNG operations supporting ongoing LNG operations and new projects for LNG peak shaving applications. The Senior Coordinator analyzes processes, investigates technical solutions, implements operational process improvements, and communicates with a wide variety of people and safety critical operational areas involving installation, commissioning, startup, production/operations, logistics, distribution and storage of LNG. The Senior operations coordinator is well versed in SCADA, PLC and HMI functions of plant control.

This is an on-site position in Hopkinton, MA.

This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive compensation and 7-day a week per-diem.

Responsibilities:

· Supports operations, maintenance, capital upgrades, troubleshooting LNG equipment in the execution of LNG operations and projects.

· Perform preventive, routine and normal maintenance of all equipment at established intervals.

· Interpret electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and process flow diagrams (PFD).

· Operating all plant systems in a safe manner with maximum efficiency under varying conditions, in accordance with 49 CFR 193, MTB standards and plant operating procedures.

· Manages Ready for Operations (RFO) activities to facilitate safe and timely start-up.

· Prepares and executes RFO plan and leads the RFO process with all disciplines participating in operations and support functions of the Operating Compa

· Directs day-to-day decisions within the RFO plan and ensures completion of activities on time and in budget.

· Monitors activities with functional leads, which may include review of plant operability preparation and readiness for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities

· Coordinates with functional leads as necessary to ensure completeness of new policies, procedures, manuals, and systems and ensure integration among systems to meet business requirements.

· Ensures the development of an Operating Plan which describes the plans, systems, processes, and procedures to manage Enterprise-Wide Operations

· Coordinates with Owner and EPC Contractor teams to ensure RFO requirements are incorporated into project activities.

Requirements:

· High School degree or relevant technical degree.

· 10-20 years of related experience in an operational capacity, e.g. pipe, gases, vaporization, cryogenics, instrumentation and controls, and fabrication

· Ability to read, interpret and redline P&ID diagrams.

· Experience with SCADA, PLC (programmable logic controllers) and HMI (Human Machine Interface)

· Ability to Interface and cooperate effectively with Utility site personnel as well as customers, site representatives, inspectors, local authorities, and others involved with LNG operations and projects.

· Familiarity with valve maintenance and repair, Truck unloading, Tanks, cryogenic units, compression, evaporators, compressors, electrical motors, low/medium voltage circuits.

· Ability to comprehend and execute all procedures from the facility's operation manuals in a reliable manner.

· Capable of interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
