The Sr. Illustration Analyst will be responsible for supporting illustrations needed for Executive Benefits COLI and BOLI markets. This role will provide data analysis to determine the most efficient method of incorporating internal costs provided by the actuaries and external returns to the purchaser. This individual must understand the financials associated with the business.
The Sr. Illustration Analyst will be responsible for job functions including but not limited to the following:
- Run inforce illustrations with different scenarios. Communicate with external partners and internal associates to provide requested information.
- Research policy and product information from the administration system or case documentation.
- Work with the pricing actuary to incorporate all expense required.
- Work with EB wholesalers to determine client objectives and best method to incorporate those objectives in plan design for new business illustrations. Plan design iterations can continue for months until a final is selected.
- Acts as a subject matter expert on illustration technology across operations.
- Analyzes detailed business reporting that supports business outcomes and analytical support measuring against set KPIs for internal customers.
- Develops and maintains understanding of current state processes and systems.
- Assist in other business analyst related functions.
- Make recommendations to enhance processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
- 2-7 years in a research/analytical role, financial industry preferred (Life Insurance/annuity industry ideal)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required
- Proven experience with data analysis and summarization
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, problem solving skills, and able to work well within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Illustration experience in this market preferred
