About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Product Management Consultant in Consumer Cloud and Platform Management Services as part of Consumer Data and Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. You will Serve as Product Owner to define and implement Controls and Data Quality checks for Consumer Data Products.

In this role, you will:
  • Act as an advisor to Senior Leadership to develop or influence strategies, objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex data platforms and utilities across multiple groups and functions
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique Data Product enablement initiatives and challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas of the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and guidance to others, while adhering to set data governance and standards
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to Senior Leadership on implementing innovative and significant Data Product solutions that are large-scale cross-functional or companywide strategies
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise to ensure Data Product solutions are built for optimal performance and design analytics applications across multiple platforms and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
  • Provide expert input on new use case intake, prioritization, product roadmap definition, and other critical business processes
  • Create and maintain highly complex Data Product roadmaps throughout the Data Product lifecycle with detailed specifications, requirements, and flows for data capabilities
  • Design and maintain innovative Data Products, enabling data availability for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting
  • Serve as a strategic liaison between data management, product teams, data engineering, and architecture teams throughout the Data Product lifecycle
  • Define minimum Data Quality standards and controls for Consumer Data teams
  • Partner will multiple product teams, central governance teams and technology teams to gather feedback and align on Data Quality standards
  • Execute Proof of Concept to assess latest tools in the market that will allow CDP teams to scale build of Controls and DQ checks
  • Onboard DQ tool and execute training plan for different teams
  • Draft plan for Corrective Action to remediate SHRP associated with lack of adequate controls with focus on high-priority use cases
  • Conduct data analysis to support POC and remediation activities
  • Serve as SME and trusted point of contact to other teams to establish Controls and DQ
  • Sharp leadership and executive level communication
  • Allocate work to agile team and provide guidance and support where required

Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Data Product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of data quality, data observability and data governance experience
  • 3+ years of project experience in internal and external control assessments, audits and remediations
  • 3+ years of experience with onboarding new vendors to financial institutions managing activities such as business value generation, supply chain process, software evaluation, etc.
  • Expertise in banking data sets such as products, accounts, customers, transactions, etc. Consumer experience a plus.
  • 4+ years of Data Product Management consulting and Agile delivery experience
  • Strong leadership skills to manage work activities and team members in dispersed geographies and time zones

Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Pay Range
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
