As a Senior Jira Administrator, you will be the primary engineer for Square's Cloud and Data Center instances. You will work with internal customers to identify their Jira needs, promote best practices, and prepare the departments for a cloud migration.

You Will:

• Own and manage multiple Jira instances within Square's Atlassian ecosystem.
• Advise the business on Jira best practices, while taking a hands-on approach to implementing necessary systems improvements, platform migrations, and upgrades.
• Build deeper integration between services and create scalable automation by leveraging APIs or writing new code.
• Work with teams across Square to identify Jira productivity needs and help pair them with solutions.
• Partner with M&A teams to drive integrations of Atlassian products.
• Develop and maintain a roadmap for the SaaS platform. Provide regular communications about updates and changes.

Skills:

• Experience managing and scaling Atlassian's Jira Data Center and Jira Cloud products.
• Proficiency in Ruby, Python, and experience working with REST APIs
• Ability to communicate, written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
• Passion and understanding of relationship building between technology and your customer.

Education:

• 5 + years of Jira administration experience within a large enterprise environment.
