Senior Java/Curam Developer (HYBRID)
Job Description:

• The client requires the services of a Senior Java and Curam developer to provide business and systems analysis, modeling, design and programming for application development and maintenance operations using Java, ReactJS and Curam programming technologies.
• This role will work with the client’s Food Nutrition Services (FNS) team to design, develop and maintain the code for some of the enhancements based on the backlog of change requests from the business including help fix some of the defects from the backlog.
• This role will also help support rate changes for FNS, and other enhancements requests like Civil right changes, Forms changes and Business driven code tables etc. This role will also work with other members of the application development team in FNS and other program areas to develop code based on the existing and new requirements, as well as the client’s business team in the FNS area, FNS stake holders and work with the agile team as well for testing the code for FNS.
• This role also will collaborate with the release team for source control and code build and release related activities for the FNS area of the code.
• This role needs strong working experience in Java and IBM Curam framework to understand, design and an develop the underlying rules for the FNS and SNAP products to develop and support batches for financial and payments for the FNS and SNAP cases including the batches to terminate suspended FNS, SNAP cases, disaster supplements, Forms, Interfaces, and others.
• This role will be part of the team to support the maintenance of functionalities that was implemented to improve beneficiary experience for FNS clients like electronic Notices, Recert/Change in Circumstances/Evidence changes through the citizenship portal named ePASS, Text notifications and secured inbox and will also work on supporting AIM Phase 1 implementation and will be involved in application modernization efforts as well.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Technical hands on knowledge in specialized areas of web application system analysis and programming: Java, J2EE, with JavaScript, XML and XSL Required 7 Years
• Technical hands on knowledge and experience in HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, and Web Services standards (SOAP and WSDL). Required 6 Years
• Experience in development with both the Curam Enterprise Framework and Curam Solution Modules. Required 6 Years
• Experience using Curam Intelligent Evidence Gathering (IEG2), and Curam Express Rules for Triage (CERT), Modeling, Customization, Dynamic UIMs, VIMs Required 6 Years
• Experience in problem identification and integration of technical skills to address and solve issues. Required 6 Years
• Excellent knowledge of using Curam for Eligibility determination, Dynamic Evidences, Curam Decision Assist and Batch framework Required 6 Years
• Experience in developing User Interface using React.js. Required 3 Years
• Experience with Eclipseand IBM Websphere. Required 6 Years
• Experience with Oracle database platforms and tools. Required 6 Years
• Experience with translating and communicating highly technical concepts to both technical personnel and non-IT business users. Required 6 Years
• Experience with creating and writing technical documents using MS Office products, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and JIRA. Required 6 Years
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures. Required 6 Years
• Ability to develop relationship/partnership with customer(s) by understanding business need and value and responding to needs in timely manner. Required 5 Years
• Agile (Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe) development experience. Required 6 Years
• Experience in connecting data and applications using software integration platforms like MuleSoft or Boomi Highly desired 2 Years
• Experience with Cloud SaaS and PaaS. Highly desired 2 Years
• Knowledgeable in DevOps practices and Shift Left testing Highly desired 2 Years
• Experience developing applications using low code no code technologies like Salesforce, Microsoft dynamics and others Highly desired 3 Years
