Senior Java Technical Architect

A hands-on senior Technical Architect, lead developer to work in Reference Data group

Job Responsibilities:

Lead a small team of developers in the design and implementation using Core Java.

Participate and lead in the re-architecture and design of existing applications in JEE (Weblogic).

Conduct proof-of-concept implementation.

Produce Reference implementation.

Code using design patterns and write frameworks for reuse.

Skills:

Accomplished knowledge of Core Java with Collections api, multi-threading and Object-Oriented principles

Expert-level experience with JMS and Message-Driven Beans (MDB)

Solid working knowledge of sql and relational data modeling

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills

Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time

Ability to lead a small team of developers and be a team player

Ability to work under extreme pressure to meet regulatory deadlines

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.

12+ years of experience required
