As an FCCI Senior Java Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining advanced Java-based applications within the insurance industry to support complex business requirements. This challenging role demands a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of software development principles to perform the function as well as mentor more junior team members. Following Agile and Software life cycle methodologies, create design documents, and perform program coding and testing, as well as resolving technical issues through debugging, research and investigation. Capably write and maintain technical documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections. Provide Database management working with relational databases, SQL and ORM Technologies (JPA, Hibernate). FCCI is a highly collaborative culture where you will work with cross functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features, as well as perform code reviews to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.
This position is eligible for Hybrid work schedule (3) days in the office and (2) remote – based from one of the following locations: Sarasota or Lake Mary, FL, Lawrenceville, GA or Richardson, TX.
