Role and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be part a development team tasked with the process-driven implementation of the new case management web application. In particular, the candidate will interface with web developers, data modelers, other developers, and business analysts in designing and implementing the application's service and data access layers.
Core Qualifications
? Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or technical science
? 7+ years developing in Java, with at least 4 years using Java 5 (or later)
? 5+ years using an application container (EJB, Spring, etc.)
? 5+ years experience with an enterprise application server (JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, etc.)
? 3+ years experience working with Web Services (SOAP and REST)
? 3+ years experience working with XSD
? 3+ years experience working with JMS (WebSphere MQ, JBoss, etc.)
? 3+ years using JDBC or ORM implementation
? 1+ years experience working with marshaling methodologies (JAXB, JiBX, XStream, etc.)
? In-depth knowledge of SQL
? Experience with standard build tools (Ant, Maven)
? Experience with JUnit or other testing framework or methodology
? Experience with a source control management system (Subversion, Git, etc.)
? Ability to relate and discuss complex problem-solving experiences
? Ability to articulate object-oriented design concepts
? Ability to articulate design pattern concepts
Preferred Qualifications
? Health Care IT industry experience
? Knowledge of CMS web application standards and guidelines
? Familiarity working in a Unix or Unix-like environment
? Experience with task tracking tools (Rally, HP Quality Center, etc.)
? Relevant Sun/Oracle certification(s)
? Knowledge of the current J2EE specification
? Experience with web application security concepts
? Experience with web application scalability concepts
? Experience with web application performance concepts
? Experience using a full-featured ORM (JPA, Hibernate, etc.)
? Familiarity with JSON messaging
? Familiarity with big data processing concepts (MapReduce, etc.)
? Familiarity with big data processing solutions (Hadoop, Teradata, etc.)
? Familiarity with business intelligence concepts (SAS, etc.)
