Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Java Dev Lead!
Are you ready to take on a dynamic role where you can lead and innovate in software development? We're seeking an experienced Senior Java Dev Lead to join our team at the Austin IT Innovation Center North. You will get the opportunity to be at the forefront of cutting-edge projects, from DLA Core development to crafting solutions for 15 innovative applications.
What You'll Do:
As a Senior Java Dev Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving software development using industry-standard methodologies. Your responsibilities will include hands-on coding, updating existing software, and developing new solutions tailored to specific business needs. Collaboration is key – you'll work closely with architects, data scientists, and a team of skilled developers to ensure code alignment with design patterns and frameworks.

What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in Java. You should be well-versed in the full software development lifecycle and possess proficiency in SQL/Oracle, OO analysis and design, Microservices, Kafka, Spark, Kubernetes, UI design and more. Candidates with experience in Data Analytics, Manufacturing and/or Industrial IOT are preferred, but not required.
- Collaborative Mindset : Work closely with senior developers, software engineers, and cross-functional teams. Your ability to communicate effectively and contribute to a winning culture is essential.
- Innovation: Bring your creativity and initiative to the table. We're looking for someone who can actively engage in solving complex problems and drive software projects to success.
