Senior It Auditor

TITLE: Senior IT Internal Auditor
TYPE: Direct Hire
LOCATION: Belmont, MA
ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Hybrid, 2 days in-office, 3 days remote
START DATE: March 2024

We are looking for a Senior IT Internal Auditor due to growth. You will be joining a rapidly growing company that has grown almost 40% in the past 6 months and getting into the IT Audit group relatively early.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Play a key role in planning and leading IT SOX activities, including executing risk assessments, managing tests of design and operational effectiveness of IT controls, and leading walkthroughs.
• Assist with the IT compliance efforts around Application Controls, IT General Computers, End User Computing Controls, IT Segregation of Duties, and the analysis of Service Organization Controls.
• Play a key role in performing risk analysis on all new systems and present your findings and recommendations for mitigation.
• Oversee and assist with remediation endeavors.
• Organize SOX program testing with a variety of key stakeholders.
• Counsel in the creation of controls/openings for control justifications.
• Find, suggest, and help implement efficiencies to current processes while performing root cause analysis.
• Create relationships with business stakeholders and gain a strong understanding of their projects and their established internal control environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a bachelor's degree. A Degree in Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, and/or IT is preferred.
• Must have at least 3+ years of experience in IT operations, consulting, IT audit, or IT SOX programs.
• Must have strong knowledge and experience with IT Audit controls across realms such as operations, reports testing, access, change management, and application controls.
• Big 4 experience or experience at BDO, Plante Moran, or Grant Thornton.
• ITAC experience.
• Skilled in evaluating difficult IT and business process climates to pinpoint potential operational, IT, compliance, and financial threats.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
