A role on the Enterprise Insights team means you will be a champion of insights about our current and future guests, inspiring the organization to actin their best interest.
As a Senior Insights Analyst, you will report to the Senior Manager for Macro Consumer Insights and have responsibility for identifying and tracking shifts in consumer behavior, mindset, and composition that uncover strategic growth opportunities.
You will:
- Identify and track shifts in consumer behavior, mindset, and composition that uncover strategic growth opportunities
- Execute primary and secondary consumer research to support key initiatives
- Partner with internal team members and external partners to execute work
- Synthesize and convey diverse information sources into succinct insights
- Learn the fundamentals of Insights and retail

About You:
- Typically around two years of professional working experience in insights and/or consulting, media, strategy, or analysis
- Comfortable with a range of secondary research sources and methods
- Experience analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing data
- Communicates clearly and effectively
- Highly curious and asks questions to seek clarity
Preferred:
- Understanding of retail landscape and macro drivers (such as economic, cultural, technological drivers) of consumer behavior.
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
