What you should know about the Senior IAM Specialist Role:

Sr. IAM Specialist subject matter expert is experienced in end to end access management for assigned efforts related to IAM hygiene initiatives including project planning, delivery, employees interaction, trouble shooting, execution, monitoring and controls management.

Sr. IAM Specialist focuses on user experience while balancing application and information security requirements. These requirements will play a critical role in assisting and analyzing potential security tools and applications to enhance and improve the processes, procedures, and functions of security and identity management platforms. Manages the Identity and Access Management platform and ensures the account lifestyle process is executed for supporting sub platforms.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Builds and maintains an enterprise wide Identity and Access Management solution.
  • Working knowledge of privileged access management (PAM) with the ability to analyze, design and build PAM solutions and to integrate applications and other services.
  • Executes an enterprise-wide process for User Access Certification to support regulatory requirements.
  • Manages, maintains, configures and customizes Identity and Access Management solution to bank's needs.
  • Ensures the Account Lifestyle process is executed in all critical business applications and Active Directory
  • Works with differnt technology owners to make sure their platforms are working efficiently in providing the data supporting bank's identity and access management platforms and related access recertifications.
  • On-call responder for security alerts reported by outside provider during off-peak hours.
  • Collects data for IT Security metrics and create reports.
  • Participates in IT Security product evaluations and implementations.
To be successful, your background should match these qualifications:
  • 3 years: Identity & Access Management, Single Sign-on models
  • 1 year: using Identity Governance/Access Recertification tool
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL
  • Extensive knowledge of Role Based Access Control, lease privilege access models
  • Extensive knowledge of IAM platform (e.g. Secureauth, Courion etc.), Priviledge Access Management platforms
  • Troubleshooting/analytical thinking
  • Superb communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills a must. Ability to interact with senior levels of management.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS, BBA, etc.) from four-year college or university and three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CISSP, CISM, SANS(similar certification)preferred or willing to obtain

Signature Bank offers a base salary in this position with a range of $97,900 - $148,600, dependent on qualifications and experience. In addition, there is an annual bonus plan that is paid based on merit and performance in the role.
