Senior Hydraulic Engineer

We are currently searching for an experienced Senior Hydraulic Engineerto support ourSouthwest Regionlocated in Texas.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the analysis, design, construction administration, and preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for stormwater related activities for various owners, including municipalities and TxDOT
• Preparing water quality analysis and BMP designs per Texas standards
• Overseeing and or preparing erosion and sediment control plans and SWPPPs
• Working on multiple diverse projects simultaneously
• The position includes developing client relationships and a commitment to quality, innovation, and honest value
• Participate in business development, proposal preparation and client maintenance
• Communicate with leaders and marketing resources to assist with development of projects

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
• 10-15 years of technical and project management experience including, but not limited to:
  1. Thorough understanding of TxDOT’s Drainage Design Manual, standards, and practices
  2. H&H Analysis
  3. Bridge, culvert, and river hydraulics and HEC-RAS modeling
  4. Experience using GEOPAK Drainage and or SUDA. OpenRoads experience a plus
• Candidates should have an understanding and preferred to have experience with TMDL action plans and implementation
• DEQ certified Stormwater Plan Reviewer and or BMP Inspector preferred
