We are currently searching for an experienced Senior Hydraulic Engineerto support ourSouthwest Regionlocated in Texas.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the analysis, design, construction administration, and preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for stormwater related activities for various owners, including municipalities and TxDOT
- Preparing water quality analysis and BMP designs per Texas standards
- Overseeing and or preparing erosion and sediment control plans and SWPPPs
- Working on multiple diverse projects simultaneously
- The position includes developing client relationships and a commitment to quality, innovation, and honest value
- Participate in business development, proposal preparation and client maintenance
- Communicate with leaders and marketing resources to assist with development of projects
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
- 10-15 years of technical and project management experience including, but not limited to:
- Thorough understanding of TxDOT’s Drainage Design Manual, standards, and practices
- H&H Analysis
- Bridge, culvert, and river hydraulics and HEC-RAS modeling
- Experience using GEOPAK Drainage and or SUDA. OpenRoads experience a plus
- Candidates should have an understanding and preferred to have experience with TMDL action plans and implementation
- DEQ certified Stormwater Plan Reviewer and or BMP Inspector preferred
