Job Requirements:
- Strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and understand the business environment, strategy and people initiatives.
- Strong relationship building skills and demonstrated ability to effectively build trust and credibility with senior level management.
- Expertise in developing and managing innovative HR programs, initiatives and solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrable understanding and application of employment and labor laws.
- Experience in administering performance management programs and linking pay and performance.
- Knowledge and practical application of organizational effectiveness and change management methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional consultation, coaching, facilitation, organizational and change management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and utilizing HRIS systems.
- Excellent project management skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required with a focus on Human Resources or related discipline preferred.
- PHR or SPHR designation preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8+ years' experience in a Human Resources Business Partner, generalist or labor relations role.
- At least 2 years directly supporting a group covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
- Strong working knowledge of organizational effectiveness and a broad range of "best practices"-that contribute to driving a high performance culture and organization.
