What You Will Do:
- Demonstrate a passion for Human Resources on day one!
- Function as an HR Business Partner. Recommend, advise, and train your assigned division on a myriad of employment actions.
- Become the subject matter expert in our HRIS.
- Serve as Team Lead for our HR Generalists.
- Administer leaves of absence.
- Support and bolster positive employee and union relations.
- Educate staff, management, and department heads on all HR related procedures and information.
- Conduct investigations when complaints are presented.
What You Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Major/minor/concentration in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Organization Development or Business preferred.
- At least two (2) years of Human Resources experience required. Employee and labor relations experience preferred. Public sector experience preferred.
- HR certification from either HRCI (PHR, SPHR) or SHRM (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft Suite required. Advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) required.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation with appropriate insurance, as local travel is necessary.

Pay: $53,000.00 per year
