Senior Hr Generalist

As a Senior HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in the company, serving as a versatile resource for both HR Business Partners and employees. The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for tactical execution in areas such as employee onboarding and offboarding, performance management, system administration, and policy compliance and will contribute to the smooth functioning of HR processes. 

With a focus on accuracy, detail, and professionalism, you will navigate sensitive situations while ensuring the integrity of HR data. This role requires excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, effective communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of HR policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for all employees including conducting orientation, processing paperwork and exit interviews and entering all information into relevant systems.
• File, track and monitor all paperwork related to improvement plans and employee relation cases.
• Act as Administrator for our performance management and goals system, Betterworks, ensuring effective use and functionality and lead implementation of new functionalities.
• Record organizational changes in the system and update the organizational chart every month.
• Fulfill report requests and other data-related tasks, leveraging HRIS and other systems.
• Set up the 30/60/90 Day Performance Survey for new hires in the system.
• Partner with HR Business Partners to update and review HR policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company values.
• Respond to unemployment claims, managing the process timely and efficiently, in accordance with regulations.
• Serve as backup for management of HRIS system as needed.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a senior role.
• In-depth knowledge of HR policies, onboarding & offboarding processes, and performance management.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, particularly Namely and Betterworks.
• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
• Proficient in using HRIS and other relevant software.

Salary & Benefits:

• Base salary: $75,000-86,000 (dependent on skills & experience)
