Northside Hospital's Information Systems Department is on the leading edge of providing information technology in a healthcare setting. The Senior Help Desk Analyst answers the Help Desk telephone and provides front-line telephone support for hardware and software to end-users throughout hospital and at remote sites. Researches and resolves support issues with Technical Services, Applications, and Operations groups. Functions as 2nd tier of support and provides training and education to other staff members to enhance their skill-sets. Logs, queues, and tracks support calls placed to Information Systems Department utilizing MIS Help Desk software application. Responsible for all aspects of MIS Help Desk application including install, maintenance, regular reporting to management, and on-going use and support.
