As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will be a member of Westinghouse’s global Energy Systems team. The Energy Systems division within Westinghouse has a mission to grow its advanced technologies, such as microreactors (eVinci) and small modular reactors (SMR’s), as well as our large reactor technology (AP1000) and Energy Storage, within the international nuclear industry.



This position will primarily be focused on the SMR technology segment. As a member of the Energy Systems Marketing team, you will partner with Product Development and Sales team members to help drive revenue growth and grow global awareness. To be successful in this role, you will be a team player who collaborates both internally and externally, and works to achieve timely solutions. You will understand critical marketing execution steps to determine market needs, drivers and motivations. A growth mindset and a willingness to continuously learn and develop is essential. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong desire to demonstrate success and business wins.


This opportunity is a Remote Working role based in the United States.


Your Day-to-Day:


  • Market Research – lead market research and trends analyses activities to assist the Sales team in determining the most viable market segments, opportunities, customer needs, and competitor landscapes for new opportunities
  • Metrics – track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and conferences through the evaluation of key performance metrics
  • Collateral Development – create and support the development of new and existing content including, web landing pages, advertising, social media posts, etc., to promote global awareness of Energy Systems’ technologies; extensive experience in creating power point presentations preferred
  • Social Media – work with Communications and Sales to create innovative marketing campaigns, utilizing various social media platforms, including, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, that are aligned with business priorities
  • Marketing Plans/Campaigns – lead the execution of targeted and Global Marketing plans/campaigns
  • Conferences/Events – assist the conferences owner in the execution of events planning, conferences, and thought leadership strategies in identification of divisional speaking opportunities
  • Account Based Marketing (ABM) – be well versed in ABM business practices and be able to create targeted campaigns focused on specific accounts within strategically identified market segments
  • Offer Development Support – participate in offer development process early to determine marketing plan / approach to the specific market, review offers and adjust / add images and improve format, and develop graphic templates for offers including pictures, styles, etc.
  • Other Sales Support – assist Marketing Manager with other sales support functions as needed

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in a corporate environment with preferred skills in marketing, business, or agency consulting execution
  • Language Skills: must be fluent in English
  • Excellent written & verbal English communication skills
  • Experience with SharePoint, MS Office Suite products, including Power Point, Word, Excel
  • Strong quantitative skills and the ability to analyze data and make data driven decisions
  • Great communication skills, self-starter, good organizational and time management skills
  • Nuclear experience, preferred, but not required
  • Ability to travel to conferences & events, as necessary
  • MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s Degree in Business (MBA)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Products: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Ability to work under pressure in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment in a highly regulated market, while working collaboratively with both internal and external groups
  • Self-starter with creativity and initiative to bring ideas forward
  • Exceptional writing ability, with knowledge in business writing, editing, and proofreading
  • Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills
