We are looking for a great candidate to fill a senior position that can manage projects and has an understanding of the environmental consulting industry. We are looking for either a geologist, an Environmental Scientist, or an Environmental Engineer that would like the opportunity to work on diverse projects, solve problems and overcome challenges in a position that encourages learning, growth, creativity, flexibility, and collaboration in a team environment. Your project base will have you using various scientific methodologies and disciplines, engineering techniques, and biosciences to address environmental issues, including efficiency, resource management, and public policy compliance. Candidates should have knowledge of New Jersey environmental regulations and technical guidance. Candidates should also have knowledge of risk assessments. You should have experience with cost estimating, project specification preparation, and project planning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject such as Environmental Science, Engineering, or Geology.
- Experience with GIS is preferred.
- The right candidate will have a minium of 6 years of experience. Prior experience supporting the Oil and Gas is a plus.
- Technical writing skills and basic computer skills are required. Experience with MS360 is a plus.
- Current OHSA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification.
- Must have a safe driving record and a valid Driver's License and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving policy.

- A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES (You will need experience with the following tasks):
- Contractor Oversight during Environmental Emergency Response.
- Knowledge of water, soil, and air testing, sampling, and investigation techniques and procedures.
- Soil, water, and air permitting and compliance.
- Remedial Design and Implementation.
- Remediation System O&M.
- Task Management support for remediation and assessment projects.
- Prepare assessment/remediation reports.
- Help coordinate jobs with the tech crew and senior staff.
- Managing projects from conception to closeout.
- Mentor junior staff.
- Office tasks may include reviewing and interpreting data and preparing reports and work plans; client, subcontractor, and regulatory agency interaction; and developing and implementing remedial strategies.
