At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small multi-functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. Small, nimble engineering teams generate collective empathy and comradery, thus increasing their ability to anticipate unforeseen development scope changes and maintain high quality work you're doing. Across our US Studio system or within client development sites, our Digital Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative cloud-based solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Full Stack Java/Angular to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build innovative, cloud-based software that powers modern business. Responsibilities:
- Building and consuming both RESTful API endpoints and asynchronous events to implement business logic.
- Building reusable code and libraries to be maximised across our team and technology stack.
- Design reusable components, frameworks, and libraries
- Partner closely with architecture teams and drive solutions
- Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases through sprints.
- Communicating thoughtfully with team members through design review, code review, and day-to-day collaboration, review code, and provide feedback relative to standard methodologies and improving performance.
- Solve production support issues post-deployment and develop solutions as required.
- Align with OCM software engineering practices, standards, and principles.
- Implement solutions aligned to the enterprise strategy, demonstrating strategic tools/technologies, patterns, and processes
- Find opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications, automation of common tasks, processes/system capabilities for continuous improvement as applicable
- Partner with teams to build robust, efficient, effective solutions.
- Identify and resolve security and compliance findings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering.
- 5 + years of experience with Angular 8/9 and Java
