We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our client’s team in support of the DoD. The ideal candidate will bring experience in multiple development technologies and methodologies as well as strong process transformation skills to enhance the team's capabilities. Relevant experience for this role may include any or all of the following: object-oriented programing, management consulting, implementing software code, and debugging technical issues. Ability to research, test, build, and coordinate integration per government requirements.
We are looking for a flexible software developer who has experience delivering web solutions for the federal government, is comfortable developing in multiple languages, experienced on both front and backend, microservices, and API development. The candidate will be working with the government lead to develop solutions, interface designs, and architecture of websites. We prefer candidates who are unafraid to tackle new technologies and stretch their competencies to areas of development that they may not have encountered before. The Senior Developer will be working with and coaching more junior developers as needed.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8+ years of software development experience.
- Experience in front-end and backend web application development leveraging frameworks such as React.JS, Angular.JS, or .NET.
- Experience developing and implementing API and web services using Node.JS, .NET, or Flask/FastAPI.
- Proficient in relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with multiple object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, or Python.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills along with the ability to present technical data and approaches to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Nice to have: DOD 8570 certification requirements.
- Must reside within a commutable distance to the federal client’s location at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in order to work onsite full time.
- Must have an active DOD TS/SCI clearance with CI poly or ability to get a CI polygraph.
