Role Summary:

Iontra is involved in the development of important battery improvement and enabling technologies. This is a full-time, hands-on role in a startup environment. You will be involved in the design and development of upcoming products that will push Iontra forward. The responsibilities of this position will revolve around the development of our IOT cycler charging fleet in regards to automated provisioning, linux administration, and maintaining our internal company tooling (web applications, data pipelines). You will need the ability to work with many different technologies, work on all parts of our software stack, and be excited about solving complex problems.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Take on the role as an individual contributor for the team, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment to solve complex problems.
• Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of Iontra’s suite of internal applications.
• Work closely with the embedded software engineering and analytics team to capture requirements and propose new designs to improve speed and efficiency in Iontra’s internal software systems.
• Use automation to manage and update the configuration of Iontra on-site Linux systems.
• Build ETL pipelines to move data between data stores.
• Design cost-effective storage and compute solutions that fit Iontra's needs.
• Build solutions with security in mind at every stage.
• Communicate problems early to team members and offer solutions.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices within the organization.

Requirements

You’ll Need These Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in Full Stack Software Engineering
• Ability to work in both a team environment and autonomously, is a self-directed learner.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
• Experience architecting/developing scalable applications using OOP/functional paradigm languages.
• Strong experience building applications in either Python or Typescript.
• Strong experience writing unit, integration, e2e tests and working with testing tools.
• Strong Linux background and experience writing shell scripts.
• Experience building and deploying containerized applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Some hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS (preferred), Azure or GCP.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines to build/test/deploy software.
• Experience using Git version control.

Desired Qualifications:

• Some experience building applications using Golang.
• Implemented with GraphQL for web applications.
• Kubernetes administration experience
• Experience with infrastructure as code frameworks (Ansible, Terraform, Packer, etc).

Salary Range: $115k - $130k (salary is based on education, experience, skillset, and market value).
