Vector Solutions is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to play a key role in the financial management and strategic decision-making processes within the Company. This position involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, identifying trends, and providing valuable insights to support the execution of the organization's goals. The Senior FP&A Analyst will partner with senior management to develop strategic and investment business plans, build KPIs, and evaluate financial performance. In addition, this role will involve special projects designed to foster continuous improvement and drive additional value-creation for the Company.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop and gain deep business understanding of financial drivers and levers that impact the P&L.
  • Generate accurate and timely financial reports (revenue and expense) for management and other stakeholders. Present financial information in a clear and concise manner to facilitate decision-making.
  • Maintain monthly / quarterly reporting and expense schedules that track actual vs plan. Conduct variance analysis to understand discrepancies between planned and actual results. Provide actionable recommendations to address any deviations from the financial plan.
  • Assist in the consolidation of total company results across all functional business lines (revenue, expense, and headcount) for quarterly and annual reporting and planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business decisions. Offer financial insights to assist in the evaluation of potential investments, cost-saving opportunities, and growth strategies.
  • Build and refine forecasting methodology across all functional business lines. Work closely with business partners to gather relevant information and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Build detailed financial models to support project-based initiatives related to capital structure, product rollouts, and process improvements.
  • Support recurring external reporting at the lender and investor level.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities. Implement improvements to streamline financial analysis and reporting procedures.
  • Develop executive level presentations to summarize results.
  • Ensure consistent approach to checking work and uncovering key insights.
Requirements
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft products.
  • Manage workload in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to partner cross functionally with leaders across the organization.
  • Exceptional project management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Prior experience working with a planning and reporting tool a plus.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills; strategic and critical thinking.
  • A successful, documented track record of building, implementing, and managing highly effective financial planning and analysis programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in progressively Senior FP&A (or comparable) positions, preferably with expertise in supporting a growing technology or eLearning SaaS organization.
