What you should know about the Senior Financial Center Associate Floater role?
In this position, you will assist the Financial Center Manager in maintaining bank operations and supporting the Private Client Groups (PCGs) and clients in accordance with all applicable Bank policies and procedures. Extensive traveling to various Financial Centers to assist with staffing.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Assists in Financial Center operations tasks: POD scanning, review teller work, invoice payment, Financial Center proof, daily/monthly Financial Center reports, monthly audits, etc. Supports tellers, provides feedback.
  • Back-up to Financial Center Manager. Assists with opening and closing Financial Center; facilities issues, and training of new hires.
  • May open as a Head Teller/Teller and perform all teller functions as needed.
  • Provides ongoing servicing relationship with clients and responds to inquiries and requests regarding accounts. Assists Private Client Groups with client relationships including wire transfers, new account paperwork, foreign wires, collections etc.
  • Assists back-office personnel in resolving operational issues, including proof, investigations and wire transfer requests.
  • Assists Financial Center management with a variety of projects.
  • Complete ongoing training as required Compliance, HR, etc.

To be successful, your background should match these qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum 3 years of financial services Teller or 2 years of supervisor in a branch setting, managing Tellers, compliance, etc.
  • Knowledge of business accounts and wire transfers
  • Professional, problem solving, interpersonal, communication, collaborative, and communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintain positive relationships
  • Manage multiple projects
  • Client service oriented, team player
  • Strong leadership and highly motivated individual
  • Works well in a changing dynamic environment
  • Ability to travel extensively to various locations in California

Compensation:
Flagstar Bank, N.A. offers a base salary in this position with a range of $25.15 - $32.00 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.
