Job description

Overview:
In this role you will lead a key analytical function of the company and provide insights to support optimal business decision making at all levels of leadership. You will look at the company's key performance indicators (KPIs), operations and finances with a critical eye and introduce actions for improvement, serving as a true partner to the business.
You will be responsible for end-to-end financial forecasting on a regular cadence, financial and KPI analysis and special projects, including operational KPI development. The FP&A function will provide financial visibility and support to senior management, including supporting analysis and reporting, new business initiatives, financing activities, analysis of acquisitions and other ad hoc projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Partner with the Leadership Team to review and develop strategies for the overall growth of the company and evaluate and advise on short- and long-range integrated financial and operational planning.
Build and develop a corporate FP&A function that will partner with other areas of the business, with the ability and willingness to be hands-on and dive deep into the details.
Tactically analyze and strategically assess the company's financial and operational needs.
Provide financial analysis and guidance on activities, plans, targets and business drivers to members of the executive team and company management.
Support strategic business decision making through financial modeling and analysis including ad hoc modeling and analysis.
Drive predictability in planning, forecasting, and reporting; constantly improve accuracy by understanding the underlying business drivers, challenging assumptions and solving problems.
Enhance and maintain operational and financial KPIs.
Build, own, maintain, and continuously enhance the company's detailed short- and long-term financial forecasts on a regular basis.
Analyze actual financial results and key performance indicators in detail and compare them against the forecast and prior period results, identifying the underlying reasons for variances.
Lead discussions with business and functional leaders to succinctly communicate your analysis.
Understand the business context for financial results and the evolving needs of the business.
Translate financial insights into actionable operational recommendations.
Gather up-to-date inputs for the forecast from multiple sources.
Be an advocate for continuous team improvement, particularly in our use of technology.
