- Construct with Director of FP&A valuation models for organic and in-organic growth projects and support senior management reviews.
- Play a significant role in developing machine learning applications to support operations.

- Assist in knowledge sharing throughout the company pertaining to SDI's internal control methodology.

- Support business growth opportunities in the USA and Mexico including acquisition analyses by assisting with:
- Due diligence of target companies
- Preparation of presentation for management

- Project tracking and coordinating

- Serve as back up for members of FPA & Corporate Controller teams
Required Minimum Position Qualifications: MBA or Master's degree in Business, Finance or related field of study AND Four (4) Years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Position also requires demonstrated experience in the following:
- Act as a Controller for public and private owned companies: financial statements preparation, budget and forecast preparation, financial analysis, deviation analysis, capex management, month, quarter, and year end close, and external audit coordination.
- Product Costing and Inventory Management processes, including: cost accounting, inventory KPI's, fabrication routes, standard rates, bill of material, controlling tools, analytic tools on mix, volume, pricing, exchange rate, deviations (actual vs. standard), etc., Sarbanes Oxley controls for inventory, physical and cycle counts, and warehouse management.
- Analyze, organize, present, and explain large volumes of data to senior executives.
- Information technologies and systems projects, such as: Key User or SME for ERP full systems implementation, Key User or SME for ERP modules implementation, Key User or SME for Data Visualization implementation tools, Project Management, Champion and/or Sponsor for IT related projects implementations, Development and redesign of information systems or modules into existing ERP systems, Industry 4.0 initiatives and implementation (Big Data, IoT,), and Server Migration.
- M&A projects: participation in due diligence projects, lead integrations and spin-offs, and financial project valuation.
- Administrative and controlling process improvement, implementation, execution, maintenance, and release.
- Internal Control subjects: implementing Sarbanes Oxley, maintain internal control system updated, manage the whistleblower program, perform internal audits, and perform annual trainings to the employees and launch communication campaigns.
- Trade Working Capital management and metrics improvement: decrease of accounts receivables overdue, management of accounts payable overdue and payment strategies, collection of tax receivables (VAT, other duties), management of aged inventory (raw material, WIP and finished goods); and implemented strategies to sell or utilize obsolete / slow movement inventory.
- Build saving strategies from the procurement and sourcing point of view;
- Develop hedging processes and methodologies for non-ferrous scrap metals; and
- Management of Shared Services Center.
