Senior Finance Manager, Fp&A

Jellysmack is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our growing team. This person will be a key contributor to the Jellysmack Finance team. This person will be responsible for core, corporate financial planning & analysis (FP&A) responsibilities. These responsibilities will include developing consolidated financial reporting capabilities for Month End Close, designing and implementing standardized forecasting cadences across the company, and owning SG&A budgeting and forecasting. Moreover, this person will partner cross-functionally to develop controls, as well as finance/accounting policies and methodologies. These efforts will not only have a direct impact on Jellysmack's growth and profitability, but also this person will be a close partner to senior leaders throughout the company. This person will report to the FP&A Lead, work closely with the CFO, and also work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders throughout the company. 

The Responsibilities

• Develop consolidated financial reporting capabilities. This will include defining chart-of-account hierarchies, designing and implementing reporting system improvements, and presenting key financial reports to senior leadership.
• Own all headcount and SG&A planning for the company 
• Partner with the rest of the FP&A team for each Month End Close to produce consolidated P&L
• Partner with various departments to develop finance and accounting policies/methodologies
• Design and implement standardized forecasting cadences throughout the company. Defining key deliverables, setting key deadlines, and driving analytical insights to business partners. 

The Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field. MBA is a plus
• 6+ years experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or accounting. Background in the creator economy, digital media, entertainment and/or tech is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting fundamentals.
• A passion for financial modeling, creating data-driven analyses, and building/improving in a hyper-growth environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to distill complexity down into its most salient elements and communicating with senior executives.
• Strong Excel proficiency. Experience with SQL, PowerBI, Netsuite, is a plus.

$139,000 - $160,000 a year

The estimated pay range for this role, based on the East or West Coast is $ 139,000- $160,000 . This role is also eligible for bonus and benefits.
